Our Story

Creative Director - Tiffany Ho

A Botanist with a degree from the University of British Columbia, Tiffany entered the world of fashion gradually as an extension of her travelling experiences. Upon completion of her education Tiffany chose to take a hiatus before pursuing her botany career and travelled extensively throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. During these travels she was exposed to diverse, unique clothing and jewellery that spurred a growing interest in the fashion industry.

In what can only be described as a complete about face to those who knew her, upon her return to Canada Tiffany joined a major Canadian/US fashion retailer. She grew within the company into the position of Senior Buyer and Designer which she retained for several years. In the fall of 2003, Tiffany formed Third Floor, with the intent of creating a lingerie label that was more fresh and appealing then what was currently on the market.

Letter From The Designer

This past year I was able to really look at who I am as a designer and where I want to take this company going forward. I felt the brand needed to be more personal; a stronger reflection of both what I love and what I find most flattering to a woman's form. The new Love Made Me label marks a significant milestone for the company, it is still in keeping with Third Floor's signature comfort and fun first philosophy, but represents a maturation of styles. I see Love Made Me as being the foundation of every woman's wardrobe with a focus on everlasting modern feminine styles that can double as both sexy outerwear and comfortable innerwear.

Why Love Made Me? Quite simply love made me change it. I've had a lot of help from those I trust and those most dear to me over the last year and despite these hard economic times I've come to the realization that this is my true life's passion. I want to build a line where every woman can feel beautiful from the inside out and love themselves and the clothes they're in.

As such the inaugural Love Made Me line is characterized by dramatic plunging necklines and wide open backs that drape elegantly on a woman, highlighting the best parts of the feminine line. Set in romantic soft pastels and subtle metallic tones the pallette includes charcoals, liclacs, pinks, off-whites, and silvers with glight hints of grey. It's all about feminine and modern touches, in keeping with the fun aesthetic features of racer-back tanks and hoodies and a new take on risque yet playful long johns bring a boyish kind of charm to the line.

Constructed with fanatical devotion to the selection of ultra-soft, comfort-first materials; Canadian-made Love Made Me revitalizes fun, sexy intimates with fashion-forward creativity that inspires women to express themselves from the inside out.
